As a hunter, you will do missions to hunt monsters in various habitats.

In Monster Hunter: World, the latest version of the series, you can enjoy the ultimate hunting experience, using everything you can to hunt monsters in a new world full of surprises and thrills.

Configuration

Once every decade, the ancient dragons travel the sea to travel to the land known as the New World, in a migration called the Crossing of the Elders.

To get to the bottom of this mysterious phenomenon, the Clan formed the Research Commission, sending them in large fleets to the New World.

As the Commission sends its Fifth Fleet in search of the colossal ancient dragon, Zorah Magdaros, a hunter is about to embark on a larger journey than anything they could ever imagine.

The Hunter's Armory

There are fourteen different weapons available to the hunter, each with its own unique characteristics and attacks. Many hunters gain proficiency in various types, while others prefer to master one.

Scoutflies

Bands of monsters, such as footprints and cuts, dot each location. Your Scoutflies will remember the scent of a monster and guide you to other nearby trails. And as you gather more tracks, Scoutflies will provide even more information.

Slinger

Slinger is an indispensable tool for a hunter, allowing you to arm yourself with stones and nuts that can be collected from each location.

From deflection tactics to shortcut creation, Slinger has a variety of uses and lets you hunt in new and interesting ways.

Specialized Tools

Specialized tools activate powerful effects for a limited period of time and up to two can be equipped at a time. Simple to use, they can be selected and activated just like any other item you make on a hunt.

Palicoes

Palicoes are trusted comrades of field hunters, specializing in a variety of offensive, defensive and restorative support skills.

The Hunter's Palico joins the Fifth Fleet with pride, a bona fide member of the Commission like any other hunter.
