Establish orders: Iberian nations may appoint Jesuit, Franciscan, or Dominican clerics to govern their states in order to reduce unrest or facilitate conversion.

New Mission Trees: New missions and objectives for the nations of the Iberian Peninsula and Northwest Africa, including Spain and Andalusia.

Pirate Republics: Play as or fight pirate nations in dangerous sea zones, with their own flavor and style of play.

Flagships: Name a Flagship to lead your navy, adding combat and trade power to your fleets.

Naval Dam: Use your ships to help besiege strong coasts by bombarding the walls.

Golden Century includes a content package that includes:

New Iberian Army units: 20 infantry units unique to Granada / Andalusia, Navarre, Leon / Galicia, Salé and Pirates.

New models of Iberian ships: 17 new models of ships for the Iberian nations (Portugal, Spain, Aragon, Navarre, Galicia, Leon, Andalusia and Granada.)

New Berber ship models: 17 new Berber ship models (Morocco, Tlemcen, Algiers, Tunis, Fezzan, Mzab, Touggourt, Djerid, Tripoli, Tafilalt, Sus, Fes, Salé).

New song: 3 original music tracks inspired by the discovery of the New World.
